Ingredients

  • 250g of Strawberries
  • 1 Tablespoon of Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon of Granulated Sugar

Batter

Strawberries to Taste for the Topping 
1 Egg
3 Tablespoons of Granulated Sugar
Vanilla Essence to Taste
50ml of Vegetable Oil
½ Cup of Milk (240ml Cup)
1 Cup of Wheat Flour
1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder

How to prepare

Start by slicing the strawberries into strips and set them aside. 
In a skillet over medium heat, add the butter and stir until fully melted.
Add the sugar and stir until it fully dissolves.
Next, add the sliced strawberries, stir for 5 minutes and set them aside. 
Now, in a medium bowl, add the egg and mix.
Add the sugar, vanilla essence to taste and mix until combined.
Then add the vegetable oil, the milk and mix everything together very well until incorporated.
Add the wheat flour, mix, add the baking powder and mix again. 
Transfer this batter to the skillet with the strawberries, cover it and let it all cook for 10 minutes.
After this time has passed, using a plate, flip the cake in the skillet, cover the skillet again and let it all cook for another 5 minutes.
You may garnish the cake by topping it with strawberries to taste. 

Serve.
