Orange Cake with Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 3 oranges
  • sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 150g sugar
  • 180ml of oil
  • 300ml orange juice
  • 350g wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Syrup:

  • 300ml orange juice
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar

Way of doing:

Cut the oranges into slices.
In a baking dish greased with butter, sprinkle sugar, then add the orange slices.
In a container add the eggs and beat until homogenized.
Add the sugar, oil, orange juice, wheat flour, passing through a sieve and mix everything very well.
Add the baking powder and mix again.
Pour the dough into the pan and bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
In a pan add the orange juice, sugar and stir well until it starts to boil.
Pour the orange syrup over the cake, unmold and serve!
