Ingredients:

Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish (optional)
300g (about 10 oz) ground beef
8 oz noodles (rice noodles, spaghetti, or egg noodles)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
Garnish with sesame seeds and additional green onions or cilantro if desired.

Cook the Noodles: Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks.

Make the Sauce:
Add the minced garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the browned beef. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and brown sugar. Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine and the sauce to thicken slightly.

Combine and Serve:
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat them evenly with the sauce.
Stir in the chopped green onions.
