Classic Southern Shrimp Boil Feast

Ingredients:
2 lbs large shrimp, deveined but with shells on
1 lb small red potatoes, halved
4 ears of corn, cut into thirds
1 lb smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 large onion, quartered
6 garlic cloves, smashed
3 lemons, halved
4 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
2 bay leaves
1/4 cup butter, melted
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:
Prepare the Pot: Fill a large pot with 4-6 quarts of water. Squeeze the juice from the lemons into the water, then add the lemon halves. Add the Old Bay seasoning, bay leaves, quartered onion, and smashed garlic cloves. Bring the water to a boil.
Cook the Potatoes and Sausage: Once the water is boiling, add the halved red potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes, or until they start to become tender. Add the smoked sausage pieces and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Add the Corn: Add the corn pieces to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes.
Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the pot and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
Drain and Serve: Carefully drain the contents of the pot. Spread the shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and corn out on a large serving platter or directly onto a table covered with newspaper or butcher paper for a rustic presentation.
Add Butter and Garnish: Drizzle the melted butter over the shrimp boil and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Serve: Serve immediately with lemon wedges and additional Old Bay seasoning on the side if desired.
