Ingredients:

2 pounds ground beef
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, diced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 cups beef broth
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (15 oz) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Creamy Mashed Potatoes:
3 pounds potatoes, peeled and quartered
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Prepare the Chili Con Carne:
In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
Add the onions, garlic, and bell pepper to the pot and cook until vegetables are softened.
Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.
Add beef broth, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare the Creamy Mashed Potatoes:
In a large pot, boil the potatoes until tender, about 20 minutes.
