Chicken breast in sauce – easy and delicious!

This easy and delicious chicken breast recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner. Ingredients

  • 3 chicken breasts

  •  salt

  • Black pepper

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 1 tablespoon  of olive oil

  •  tablespoon of  butter

  • 1 onion

  • 5 cloves of garlic

  • 1 tablespoon of  butter

  • 120ml chicken broth

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • parsley

  • 1 teaspoon of oregano

  • 120ml of cream

  • ½ teaspoon of nutmeg

Way of doing

  • Make cuts on top of the chicken breasts, this helps the sauce and seasoning penetrate.
  • Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Crush the garlic cloves with the help of a knife.
  • In a pan add the olive oil, butter, garlic, chicken breasts and fry on both sides.
  • Cut the onion in half and then into slices.
  • Cut the garlic cloves into very small pieces.
  • Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  • Also remove the garlic cloves.
  • In the same pan add the  butter and stir until it melts.
  • Add the garlic and let it fry, stirring so it doesn’t burn.
  • Add the chicken broth and lemon juice.
  • Cut the parsley into small pieces.
  • Add the parsley to the pan, oregano, nutmeg,  salt and black pepper and mix.
  • Add the chicken back to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
  • Sprinkle the parsley on top.
