Ingredients:
160g of Wheat Flour
6 Large Potatoes
1 ½ Teaspoons of Salt
1 Liter of Water
50g of Unsalted Butter
1 Egg

Ground Beef
Generous Pinch of Black Pepper
½ Medium Onion
1 Crushed Garlic Clove
500g of Ground Beef
1 ½ Teaspoons of Salt

How to prepare
Start by cutting the potatoes in half, then into strips and finally, into dices. Transfer them to a saucepan, add the salt and the water, let them boil until cooked through.
Meanwhile, dice the onions and set aside.
Into a skillet, add a drizzle of olive oil and the diced onions, sauté until golden brown, then add the crushed garlic, sauté until golden brown.
Add the ground beef and cook it until it releases some juices, season it with salt and black pepper, gently stir and let it all cook until the water evaporates.
Meanwhile, drain the water and transfer these cooked potatoes to a bowl, add the unsalted butter and mash them thoroughly, add the egg and mix well. Also add the wheat flour, mix again until combined. Set aside.
Turn off the heat and set ground beef aside.
Now, sprinkle some flour on the table and spread it out, take a portion of the potato dough and put it over the flour. Stretch the potato dough into a circle shape.
Stuff it with two tablespoons of ground beef, fold the edges of dough over the filling, pressing it down into a dumpling shape.
Repeat this process until you’ve used up all the dough and the filling.
Now, into a skillet, add enough oil to cover its bottom.
Add the dumplings and fry them until golden brown.

Transfer these dumplings to a plate lined with paper towels to nicely dry them.

Serve.
