Baked Ground Beef with Potatoes and Cheese

This hearty baked ground beef dish is a comforting classic that’s perfect for any occasion. With layers of seasoned ground beef, creamy cottage cheese, and tender boiled potatoes, all topped with gooey mozzarella, it’s a satisfying meal that the whole family will love.Easy to prepare and packed with flavor, this recipe will quickly become a favorite in your kitchen!

Ingredients:

  • 1kg of ground beef
  • 4  eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 boiled potatoes
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • oil
  • 200g of cottage cheese
  • mozzarella to taste
  • oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a pan, heat oil and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika. Cook until browned.
  4. In a bowl, mix eggs, cottage cheese, and breadcrumbs.
  5. Layer half of the beef mixture in a baking dish, followed by a layer of boiled potatoes. Add the cottage cheese mixture on top.
  6. Add the remaining beef mixture and finish with mozzarella on top.
  7. Bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
