Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk (or 1 cup milk mixed with 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice, let sit for 5 minutes)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Condensed milk, for serving
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions:

    • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Combine Wet Ingredients:
    • In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk (or substitute), egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Mix the Batter:
    • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined. It’s okay if there are a few lumps.

  6. Flip and Cook:
    • Carefully flip the pancakes and cook until the other side is golden brown, about 1-2 minutes more.
  7. Serve:
    • Stack the pancakes on a plate and drizzle with condensed milk to serve. You can also add fresh fruits, whipped cream, or any other toppings you like.

Enjoy your delicious condensed milk pancakes!
