Beef Stroganoff is a classic dish with Russian origins, traditionally featuring tender strips of beef in a creamy mushroom sauce, served over egg noodles or rice. Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon of Mayonnaise
  • 800g of Beef
  • 1 Tablespoon of Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Teaspoon of Sweet Paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Generous Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 200ml of Water
  • 1 Tablespoon of Ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon of Mustard
  • 200g of Brazilian Cream Cheese

How to prepare

Start by cutting the beef into cubes, transfer them to a bowl and add the mayonnaise, mix well until incorporated. 

In a skillet, add the unsalted butter and stir until melted. 

Add the onion and the garlic cloves chopped into small cubes, sauté until slightly golden brown. 

Add the beef cubes covered in mayonnaise and stir until all the meat juices have evaporated.

Once you’ve done that, season with the sweet paprika, the salt, the black pepper, stir until combined, add the water. 

Cover the skillet and let it all cook for 5 minutes.

Next, add the ketchup, the mustard and stir well until incorporated.

Add the Brazilian cream cheese and stir one last time. 

Serve.
