Ingredients

  • ½ Large Cabbage
  • 3 Red Peppers
  • 2 Carrots
  • 3 Canning Jars (600ml Each)
  • 1 Tablespoon of Rock Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon of Garlic Cut into Dices
  • 100ml of Water
  • 2 Tablespoons of Apple Vinegar
  • 3 Slices of Sicilian Lemon

How to prepare

Start by chopping the cabbage into thin strips. 

Also chop the red peppers into thin strips.

Grate the carrots and set aside. 

Now transfer the cabbage, the peppers and the carrots to a bowl, mix all the ingredients very well. 

Transfer this mixture to 3 canning jars and put 1 tablespoon of rock salt in each jar. 

Cut the garlic into dices and add 1 tablespoon of garlic to each jar as well. 

Add 100ml of water to each jar and the apple vinegar. 

Put 1 slice of lemon in each jar and close with the lids. 

Store in a cool place for 3 days. 

Serve.
