Ingredients:

For the Salmon and Shrimp:
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
1/2 lb (225g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges (for serving)
For the Cajun Cream Sauce:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method:
1️⃣ Season and Cook the Salmon:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a small bowl, mix together the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the salmon fillets. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and sear for 3-4 minutes. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.

2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:
While the salmon is baking, season the shrimp with the remaining Cajun seasoning. In another skillet, heat the remaining olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.

3️⃣ Make the Cajun Cream Sauce:
In the same skillet used for the shrimp, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Stir in the heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, and smoked paprika. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

4️⃣ Serve:
Place the salmon fillets on plates and top with the cooked shrimp. Drizzle the Cajun cream sauce over the salmon and shrimp. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Indulge in the bold and flavorful Cajun Salmon and Shrimp Sensation, a perfect dish for seafood lovers looking for a bit of spice!
