Ladies Brownies – 50 Year Old Recipe

Ingredients:
For the Brownies:
1 cup butter
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
4 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/4 cup softened butter
1/4 cup canned milk (regular milk is fine)
1/4 cup cocoa
3 cups powdered sugar
Dash of salt
Directions:

Prepare the Brownies:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine the cocoa and flour, and gradually add to the creamed mixture, mixing well.
