Three ingredient strawberry sorbet without ice cream maker

Looking for a quick sweet treat for summer? This three ingredients strawberry sorbet recipe is easy and so quick to make! And it doesn’t require an ice cream maker, so everyone can enjoy this refreshing treat! 

Ingredients

2 lemons

400g white sugar

400g strawberries

Instructions

1. Wash thoroughly one of the lemons. Chop it with the skin into small pieces. Proceed to remove the seeds.

2. Blend in a food processor the cut lemon and the sugar, until it’s well combined. Place the mixture in a bowl and set it aside. 

3. Wash thoroughly the strawberries under the tap or wash them in a mix of vinegar and water (3 cups of water and one of white vinegar – and then rinse under cold water). Cut the strawberries and blend them in the food blender. 

4. Add to the food blender the mix of lemon and sugar. Add the juice of the second lemon too and blend all together for a couple of minutes. 

5. Place the blended mixture in a container. You can either use a tin loaf or a glass container and freeze it. Check it and break the ice after a couple of hours with a fork. Let it rest in the freezer for at least 12 hours or overnight for a better result. 

6. Take it out of the freezer 10 minutes before serving and enjoy!
