Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 180ml of oil
  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 2 cups of wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Syrup:

  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 1 cup of sugar

 

Way of doing:

In a bowl add the eggs, sugar and beat well with a whisk.
Add the oil and mix.
Add the orange juice and mix well, then the wheat flour and mix until homogenized.
Add the baking powder and mix with the other ingredients until incorporated into the dough.
Transfer the dough to a pan greased with butter and wheat flour.
Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
Add the orange juice to a pan, add the sugar and mix until it starts to boil.
Pour the syrup over the cake.
