Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • 50g sugar
  • 50ml of oil
  • 100ml of milk
  • 130g wheat flour
  • 20g  chocolate powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Instructions:

  1. Remove the ends of the bananas, cut them in half, and peel them.

  2. In a pan, add butter and stir until melted. Add sugar and stir until caramelized.

  3. Add the bananas to the pan and then remove it from the heat.

  4. In a bowl, combine egg, vanilla essence, and sugar. Mix until smooth.

  5. Add oil and milk, mixing well again.

  6. Sift in wheat flour and chocolate powder, then mix until you have a smooth, uniform batter.

  7. Add baking powder and mix until fully incorporated.

  8. Pour the batter over the bananas in the pan, cover, and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

  9. After 10 minutes, carefully invert the cake onto a plate and place it back in the pan. Cover and cook for a little longer until fully set.
