Baked Chicken Thigh with Potatoes and Carrots

Ingredients:

  • 6 chicken thighs
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • paprika to taste
  • oregano to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 4 potatoes
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • parsley to taste

Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 100ml pepper sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice

Way of doing:

Season the chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, paprika and oregano on both sides.
In a pan add the butter, once it melts add the chicken thighs and fry for 4 to 5 minutes over medium/high heat.
Cut the onion into cubes.
Turn the chicken thighs over and fry for another 3 to 4 minutes.
Cut the carrots into slices.
Remove the chicken thighs from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan add the onion and let it fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
Cut the potatoes into cubes, place them in the pan, next to the onions, then the carrots and sauté.
Cut the garlic into very small pieces, the parsley and add to the pan.
Add salt and mix everything.
Add the chicken to the pan and set aside.
In another pan add the honey, pepper sauce, soy sauce, mustard, lemon juice, mix and cook for 2 minutes over low heat.
Pour the sauce over the chicken thighs and bake at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.

Sprinkle parsley on top and help yourself!
